DOC WALTZ: Music

Everyday Girl

(Doc Waltz, 2008, ASCAP)
June 30, 2009
Music and Lyrics by Doc Waltz
Written for Doc's wife, Donna. Rediscovered and finished for this project.
She’s a lover, a fighter,
A Gypsy, a queen.
She’s as sleek as a tigress,
And often as mean.
She’s everyone’s sweetheart,
And nobody’s fool.
No one can own her,
You play by her rules.

She’s patient and loving,
She’s gentle and kind.
She’s tough and she’s stubborn,
As you’ll easily find.
She can hold you and trust you,
And never ask why.
She can love you and leave you,
And make you wanna die.

~Break~

She’s a kind-hearted woman,
She’s caustic and curt.
She’s a cowboy’s cowgirl,
She’s a natural flirt.
She keeps me guessing,
She settles my life.
She’s my best friend,
My lover, my wife.

An uncommon attraction,
That leaves my mind in a whirl.
Both lady and vixen,
My everyday girl.
An uncommon attraction,
That leaves my mind in a whirl.
Both lady and vixen,
She’s my everyday girl.
